Satellites

I am on-air via satellites since the early OSCAR satelilites. Since a few years I am receiving and selecting telemetry data of several sats like Funcube AO-73 and also Nayif-1 EO-88 / JY1Sat JO-97 (both not in the orbit anymore).

I selecting about 400.000 data packages and in the ranking I am in the range of #70 from 1.500 HAMs selecting data for the AMSAT-UK Data Warehouse. The receiving station is very simple: a FunCube-USB-Stick connected to an Windows-PC, a TA-1 Turnstile antenna in the garden one meter above the ground and a bias tee preamp from SSB Electronics.
